Fishing
There are many interesting spots nearby for those interested in angling. A few meters from the house is the Afra, a stream originating just above the village of La Montagna and flowing into the Tiber 16km further downstream, with typical Apennine stream waters with Salmonidae. 10km away is Montedoglio, a large reservoir suitable for any type of fishing and an interesting site for birdwatching. Immediately downstream of the artificial barrier is the stretch of Tiber river known as ‘the tail water’ fly-fishing club, a site of national and international importance for fly-fishing.
